Racing Mentor to offer sponsorship training during the ERA Championship bootcamp
We are super excited to announce that we will be joining the ERA Championship at its inaugural Driver Bootcamp in the USA next year. Scheduled to take place in California and Nevada across the winter season in early 2022, Racing Mentor will support the ERA’s drivers with media training, branding sessions, and sponsorship workshops.
Over an intensive four-week period in the Californian winter sun, drivers will test, race, and train as they compete in a six-race off-season challenge for a chance to win an all-expenses-paid drive in the 2022 ERA Summer Championship.
Racing Mentor will be working closely with drivers during the four-week bootcamp. Through a mix of group workshops and one-on-one sessions, they’ll learn valuable sponsorship skills. Alongside this, they’ll also receive media training, a vital part of any racing driver’s arsenal of skills.
Those media skills will prove handy during the bootcamp too, as it’s being covered for an Amazon Prime documentary. Produced by an award-winning production company under the working title ‘How to Build a Racecar Driver’, this documentary special will chart the hidden world of motorsport off-season training, focusing on the characters, training and driving.
The ERA Driver Bootcamp is designed to prepare drivers for the highest levels of motorsport. Not only will they get to grips with electric single-seater race cars but the additional training will ensure they have the off-track skills to succeed.
Jess says: “I’m so excited to be working with the ERA Championship and joining them for the Driver Bootcamp next year. Sponsorship skills are an oft-forgotten piece of the puzzle so I’m thrilled to be able to pass on this knowledge to drivers during the bootcamp.”
We’ll be taking you along for the ride as all the details get finalised. Keep an eye on our socials for more in the coming weeks.
