Racing Mentor joins the eSkootr Championship with team RM Electric

Racing Mentor founder Jess Shanahan is taking her motorsport knowledge to a new form of racing. With a focus on electric mobility and sustainability, she’ll join the eSkootr Championship (eSC) as team principal of RM Electric.

Heading up this new team brings together Jess’s experience in motorsport as well as her role as a speaker and journalist covering e-mobility and energy. Having previously run the Porsche team Turn Eight Racing in 2016, this is an opportunity to bring traditional motorsport experience to a new era of electric racing.

“Racing Mentor was built on a platform of community and inclusivity,” Jess says. “This is something I want to bring to RM Electric. It’s important that we share all routes into motorsport and working with eSC to make that a reality is incredibly exciting.”

The eSC global racing series was designed to create social impact. Its mission is to make cities more liveable by promoting micromobility to a wider audience. Alongside this, it focuses on delivering sports events more sustainably while providing an inclusive, accessible platform for all riders.

We have a whole host of exciting announcements to follow so watch this space. In the meantime, you can find out more about the championship here.
