Racing Mentor founder joins Motorsport UK’s LGBTQ+ Committee

As an active supporter and champion of motorsport inclusivity, I’m excited to announce my recent appointment to Motorsport UK's LGBTQ+ Expert Committee.

You’ll no doubt already know that Motorsport UK is the national membership organisation and governing body for four-wheel motorsport in the UK. Its mission is to celebrate and enable participation in motorsport in a safe, fair, fun, inclusive, and progressive environment.

Motorsport UK’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee uses research and its members' expertise across five expert committees (LGBTQ+, Disability and Accessibility, Women in Motorsport, and Racial Diversity) to formulate strategy, policy, and actions for recommendation to the Board.

You can take a look at Motorsport UK’s full EDI strategy here.

I’ve always tried to create a welcoming and inclusive environment in motorsport. Whether that’s supporting existing drivers, encouraging new people into the sport, or working with organisations such as Racing Pride to offer scholarships to LGBTQ+ people, this has been vitally important to me as I’ve built a business in motorsport.

Joining Motorsport UK’s LGBTQ+ committee is the next step in that journey and will enable me to help support and encourage even more people in the future.
