Sam needed to refine a business plan for a group of companies he was launching including The Supercar Clinic and The Stunt School.
A consultancy session where we went through the business plan together to build on it before I went through and refined it.
Sam has built valuable partnerships and agreements using the business plan to show the gap in the market for these services.
I’ve worked with Sam for a while now on everything from sponsorship consultancy through to business planning. When he was in the process of building his businesses, he realised the need for a professional business plan.
Using Sam’s knowledge of supercars, instructing racing drivers and the world of stunt driving, we worked together to research the different markets, set goals and better outline the business for prospective investors and partners.
The finished document totalled around 5,000 words and contained everything necessary to show the positioning of the business, objectives, competitors, growth strategies, finances and more.
Sam used the business plan to secure investment and is in the process of launching the first Stunt School venue.
The Supercar Clinic’s first date is imminent. Find out more here.
Coaching racing drivers
As well as working with Sam on the business plan, we’ve worked together to support young racing drivers. Sam regularly refers instructing clients to Racing Mentor and I’ve given talks to the teams he works with.
I talked to these drivers about securing sponsorship and building their own profiles in order to land deals that get them on track. One of those drivers has now gone on to test an F4 car.
“I have been working with Jess on a number of different projects. From writing a business plan for a huge project to working with young drivers and all motorsport curriculum in between.
“Jess’s ability to adapt to the needs of each driver from front-of-camera media training to delivering second-to-none sponsorship packages.
“She really is market leading In what she does and I will continue to use Jess with all my future ventures.”Sam Maher-Loughnan
